Y KNOT’s self-titled debut album is a collection of songs he created over a timeframe full of ups and downs, trials and tribulations. Essentially, this album is his life for the past three years or so. In that time he worked with several producers and artists and assembled many magnificent sounds, singles, heaters and duds. Y KNOT the project, is exactly that. A journey into ones’ self to learn what life will need out of him, or better yet, what he needs out of it. The voice of reason, is no match for a love untamed, to find a fresh artists sound, a reason, a way, is truly where this project took him. Now a confident, semi accomplished songwriter, producer of his own, Y KNOT provides 13 songs, his goal on all of them; a sense of originality, generic to none, hybrid of it all, Y KNOT is a journey, as was it once was for himself as well. An excuse to keep on doing what you love, Y KNOT. I can’t think of reasons neither.
